Taunton Mind,

Wellington Garden Share
is aninitiative from TransitionWellington and Wellington inBloom. The Garden ShareProject can put people in touchwith garden owners who wouldbe happy to share part of thegarden for food production. An area of the garden wouldbe identified, which you would have use of and in return acertain percentage of vegetables would be shared withthe owner. Taunton's Living Landscape
is aninitiative launched by Somerset WildlifeTrust to link up habitats so that wildlifecan move, thrive and survive. Theyare working to restore, recreate andreconnect habitats across Somerset,to make sure wildlife is resilient toincreasing pressures in the future.There will be opportunities to plant fruittrees and other species. Norton fitzwarren (CE) Primary School
have appliedfor funding to launch a 'Cooking for Change' Project.They want to create a community kitchen within theschool to provide hot meals 2 times a day for the childrenand staff and also to teach the parents and the localcommunity at large how to source, prepare and cooknutritious meals.
