I just started doing this on a larger scale. I am having a baby in less than a week, and I have been unemployed since almost the beginning of my pregnancy. I began doing this to make my husband's and my money stratch further, I spend about $200 a month. The week before the month ends I begin thinking about recipes we love, finding new things to try, and having fun meals, and put it all into a calendar on publisher - then I make a list of everything I will need and scope the ads when they come out. I change things according to really good deals, but mostly stick to the original plan - and the $200 includes cleaning supplies, dog food, etc. Anyone can do this! I have gotten both my sister and sister-in-law in on it too!
