The following speech was given by Rabbi Emmanuel Rabinovich before a special meeting of the Emergency Council of European Rabbis in Budapest, Hungary, January 12, 1952:Rabinovich:

ftheUniversalMilitaryTrainingActwasagreatsetbacktoourplans,butweareassuredthatasuitablemeasurewillberushedthroughCongressimmediatelyafterthe1952elections.TheRussians,aswellasthe

siaticpeoples,arewellundercontrolandoffernoobjectionstowar,butwemustwaittosecuretheAmericans.Thiswehopetodowith

SemiticelementsinAmericatoincreasetheireffectiveness,andweshallstageAnti

ectorsin America,whichthencanbesilenced,andofweldingtheUnitedStatesintoadevotedanti
