The University of the District of Columbia is an urbanland-grant institution of higher education with an openadmissions policy. It is a comprehensive publicinstitution offering affordable post-secondary educationto District of Columbia residents at the certificate,baccalaureate and graduate levels. These programs willprepare students for immediate entry into the workforce,for the next level of education, for specializedemployment opportunities and life long learning.
