Podcasting: Step 3 - Convertingand uploading your podcastready for the masses!
Now that you have recorded and edited your audio, it’s time to convert yourmasterpiece to MP3 and then upload it to your blog. Anyone who then subscribesto the RSS feed of your blog in a program like iTunes can automatically receive your audio files as podcasts! Here’s a step-by-step guide of what to do in order to get your audio from Audacity onto your blog, and ultimately into iTunes:1. Go to the
File
menu and then
Export As MP3

2. Choose where you would like to save the MP3 file that Audacity is about tocreate. It’s good practice to name files that will be uploaded to the Internet without any spaces in them:3. If this is your first time exporting audio from Audacity in MP3 format, you willneed to locate a file called lame_enc.dll. You should have saved this from the Audacity website (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) when you installed theprogram.

4. Depending upon which version of Audacity you have and on which operatingsystem, you will either be prompted to add more details to your MP3, or it willstart encoding immediately:5. Create a new blog post (on the blog we set up in Step 1) by emailing
. Attach the MP3 file you have created to the email:
