Muslim world, Responsibilities and leaderships: Hussain(as) Remembered

Muslim world is in mess. Bloodshed in every Muslim community in the name of sectarian violence, fight against terror or riots, is commonly visible even in the darkness of night. In these times of distress and mayhem, Islamic leaders are busy in making some real structural development. It reminds me of a visit of one of Saud Kings who visited US and an Islamic organization invited him to the Islamic center to address Muslims and also suggest some solutions to the problems faced by Muslims in the west. At the last moment, Prince rejected the invitation by saying that he would be too busy to come. Keeping the Islamic brotherhood intact, organization hailed the decision but later on came to know that Prince had gone to watch a recently released Hollywood blockbuster (I think Harry potter) with his family. What has happened to the revolutionary conduct of Muslims? This is very strange to see Amnesty going to help Burmese Muslims while as the tycoons of Ummah who have been dictating their lofty virtues and calling themselves Slave of house of Allah have forgotten that before Allah, a Muslims dignity is more sacred and blessed than the Kabah. The only time I get an impression that Muslim countries are aware of the circumstances of Muslims in Palestine and many more places, are when the remunerated scholars of these dictorships and kingships pass fatwa and ask Palestinians to renounce stone pelting. Behind the shield of Kharooj and hikmah, the defense of Muslim lands and civilisation is portrayed as an unislamic extreme reaction rather than exhibition of self-respect, dignity and renunciation of bowing down before other Ilahs and taghoot. How could they forget Ibn Taimiya (ar) whom they quote time and again against uninformed, ignorant Muslim school of thoughts who have been in worst of state of affairs for ages? Quite astonishing! The people, who used to set priorities for Ummah, have themselves forgotten the primacies and not only that but are reluctant to give their allegiance to Islamic revivalism. Dont they remember the cause behind the formation of OIC? If yes than we say goodbye to such group of foolish leaders and we ask them to stop dictating the real Islamic spirit to a common Muslim. But we hope it is not true and it is only negligence that has made them crippled. To save their dignity, OIC has called for a summit (hope it will not be like round table conference of 1947) to discuss the condition of Muslims, their affairs and crisis going on in Burma in specific. I do not expect a lot as history has shown the way Arab countries have been playing with the sincere efforts, potential and expectations of Ummah. OIC's decision to send a fact finding envoy to Burma reminds me of the envoy sent by them in the times of Umar Mukhtar (ar), although OIC was not there at that time but the countries were there. A revert, M Asad, after a lot of trouble, got the report from Libya and even praised the character and way of Umar, fighting Italians in Libya but the report was overlooked till Omar embraced martyrdom. I really appreciate the recent speech of a Palestinian women on George Gallows show, who showed her frustration by alleging Saud Family of betraying Muslim Ummah and being loyal to

western Zionist regimes............OIC summit will be attended by Envoy from US(to keep an eye on their pet), and many European countries as well. After all, Saud family fears the recent toppling of kingdoms of tyrant regimes in the region and establishment of a Government by consensus of people in Egypt, which might not be an ideal one but better in terms of right to determine the head of state and senators. The terms like "Shaura" and "Kharooj" have always been confusedly used by King Family to protect their kingdom. A lady questioning Umar (ra) and asking him to rectify his mistake has now become an unrealistic myth and thanks to the force used against anyone for raising voice against Government or senators, such incidents no more happen in the golden land of Arabia. Our intimacy and adoration for Arabia is compelling us to keep on admiring even for their mistakes and blunders and has always stopped us from criticizing their unfair conduct towards Ummah. Alas! We had also reminded ourselves of the legend of Karbala and acknowledged that Hussain (as) also belonged to the same land; our view towards devotees of the West would have been quite different. Husains grandfather's(saw) message is not dependent on a Saud family nor does it need petro dollar...But inherently the revivers of this message will rise and liberate the humankind of all kinds of slavery whether that be slavery to wealth, to scholars, to West or to the kings. We must praise some of the efforts of the Saud family to stop western influence in Middle East in 1960s but afterwards their policy became so hypocritical. On Islamic grounds they have been rejecting Iran in totality which may be true in some respects but at the same time have been selling the Ummahs real treasure and mission of giving a universal Dawah by establishment of a Khilaphate and gaining the pleasure of Allah, time and again. The torch bearers of tawheed can see the infinitesimal shirk of an ignorant, poverty ridden Muslim, living in slums of India, who has been living among polytheists for hundreds of years but are incapable of searching their own self of the greater association by giving an unconditional support to tyrants and murderers. We may keep on writing against their actions but the love and affection towards that land always supersedes the critique inside us. Being optimistic, without getting drowned in idealism, we hope that they learn a lesson from Hussain (as) who sacrificed his everything but did not let anyone change even a single principle of Khilaphate and without caring about the condition of his family, preferred martyrdom over betrayal. Ramazaan is the best month to repent. It would be intelligent decision for Saudi and other Islamic states to repent and change their policy. Their wealth may last for few centuries but Islamic faith has a bright, ever living future and allegiance to the Muhammad(saw)s message is superior to allegiance to any superpower whether it be US, Britain or USSR( Now Russia). If a proper change in policy and rejection of taghoot by the leaders of Ummah, who have the moral obligation to lead us, is not the first thing they do in the morning after repentance, I fear a time will come that Obama like Uncle Sam may land his adulterous forces (Who are around Hijaz at present) in the heart of Muslim lands and at that moment neither Muslims nor the petro-dollar can save them. Revivers of the Islamic Khilaphate will fight for the cause and their martyrdom would be the reward from Allah but what would the friends of Obamas

and Bushs do. Then the siren of death would be blown and no repentance will be accepted. Every reader must Say: I Pledge my allegiance.

Once again the chants of Labaika Allahuma Labaik reminded me of the fact that loosing for others is not always a loss but a real heroic act. Since last Hajj ceremony, that woke my conscience up and invoked in me a sense of responsibility towards my civilization, it is an alarm that alluded to the fact that all those dreams and promises of making our next day a better one, have been unfulfilled. As ones world starts with himself, so does mine. My "Self" now tries to explore the deep ocean of thoughts and actions to see whether this year was somehow beneficial for IT or not. Alas! It should have been much better than this. The promises are still unfulfilled, dreams waiting to come true and state of Self is once again sick. Medication had been prescribed last year and The Book guaranteed relief from the diseases of heart but the Ego and the lust for this world kept me busy. Self remembers the articles written to show His piety and righteousness but also remembers the transgressions which He never mentions before the Community and Ummah. Self always rejects a deed without ego, an act without show off and a wow without inability to fulfill that. Although Self exposed the plans and designs of enemy but who is there to expose his own filth. Neither is there a perfect human like Messenger (saw) nor a Wali like Hasan Basri(ra) who can understands those dramas of the villain Self. Hearing, it hears not, Seeing, it sees notBlind Helen keller did appreciate the world better than these eyes who never respected their reason of creation. But the life goes on, the lump of flesh keeps pumping the blood and that is what life has been redefined by the Self. Were it up to Self to vanish itself, it would have been a good option but that not being a case a hope creeps in and wants us to again stand up and remind oneself of the act of giving yourself or Sacrifice what dictionaries write. The real sacrifice on Hajj2012 for me starts from here. Let me help My 'Self' to sacrifice my desires. My Community: A year passed by. Shackles still worn, people suffering and blaming each other for the sufferings. Oppression not only changes the way of living but the way of thinking. Frustration owing to the conditions flushed on different groups who we think are wrong. Poor in society still struggle to get a 2 time meals. Oppression changes its face but the intensity never declines. Eid celebrations with extravagance and useless parties remain the habit. Many sisters still wait for their partners but how could they get a 32dish Wazwaan and a basic amenity like 30g gold/Car/A Big Banglow. Mullas in masajid again chanted the Azaans and challenged the "Intellectuals challenge" that Islam is not Azaad whereas a second version of scholars made it clear that their decision to declare anyone mushrik or kaafir will be the final one. A masjid built

to demonstrate that the nearby Masjids namaazee are deviant and Islam yet needs to be taught. So next time you might be asked to show your identity before entering it. Another group, which surfaced recently, played it fare and kept everyone in a category of deviants. Now seeing all these groups I am myself confused to which group do I belong. A halaqa to spread Tawheed was established to counter the last years halaqa, which according to new one, spread a deviated message. I am so fortunate that I didnt join previous one. Revivalists again chalked out a strategy to teach people that Islam is a way of life rather than a collection of rituals. Students prepared for AIEEE, CET and even IIT this time. Career mania shifted from MBA to administrative jobs. Innocent kids still carryl the loaded bag with stuff full of the books designed by the Oppressors but innocent people have no choice except to follow. They again plan to repeat 2008 and their rivals do vice-versa. Both think they won. Facebook gets much deeper into society. YouTube after being harassed by e-protests sees an enhanced number of users. Google being boycotted on 20,21 and 22 September, is still the favourite search engine. Knowledge in people especially youth added up because of the speed of broadband. Information too exploded again. This year my community celebrated the martyrs day and tried to survivejust survive IFDians again collect Zakah and plan to (Insha Allah) collect animal hides..After all a new Hajj has arrived and is knocking at the door. Although my community did make mistakes but among the same crew are those whom Allah blessed with wisdom and who are leading it ideologically. Inbetween an individual and an Ummah, lies the community. Hope we donot ignore it. My Ummah and Hajj2012: A year passed since my Ummah saw the last Hajj. Condition is surely worse than previous years. Despite our rich Monarchs, Muslims keep on suffering of poverty, mass killings, oppression, drone attacks and what not. Let us look into our economic conditions One of the best known faces from Saudi Arabia, King Abdullahs nephew Prince AlWaleed bin Talal, who has amassed a fortune through successful investments on international stock exchanges and real estate markets, appeared on the financial channel CNBC in May. AlWaleed, who is among the top 30 wealthiest people in the world according to Forbes magazine, claimed that the country, which currently produces approximately 9 million barrels of oil per day could actually produce 12.5 million barrels per day and, if certain technical additions were made, even 15 million barrels per. According to Al-Waleed, the state should have enough oil for another 95 years at current production quantities, but we dont have enough to feed starving poor muslims. Many boast of Saudis greatness of holding a congregation for Hajj but isnt it beneficial for Saudi not a liability. Last year, the 10-day event generated some $10bn (6.2bn), according to the Chamber of Commerce in Mekkah. The previous king, Fahd bin Abdul Aziz was known for his extravagant vacations in Spains Costa del Sol. The posh resort town of Marbella is where he built his palace named Mar Mar, and each year for a month or more he would stay there. Luxury villas and hundreds of rooms in five-star hotels would be reserved for his entourage, and anywhere between ninety to three hundred million dollars would be spent by the royal family on the vacation.Other powerful Saudi royals can be seen living it up on the French Riviera. They fly on private jets, buy the finest jewels and dine at exclusive restaurants. Saudi prince al Walid bin Talal whom Time magazine has labelled as Arabian Warren Buffett, has summered in Cannes for the last thirty years, and owns a 281 foot yacht called the Kingdom that he bought from Donald Trump. The yacht comes complete with a disco studio and helicopter. Examples of extravagance include one Saudi prince buying a $1.2 million emerald and diamond necklace.. The humanitarian agency said on Thursday that many of the 1.4 million Somalis displaced

by conflict and drought will bear the brunt of the new crisis since they rely on good harvests to keep food prices low. In 2012 alone, an estimated 13,000 people left their homes because of food insecurity.

$25 will feed 1 family for 1 week $100 will feed 1 family for 1 month $150 will feed and provide basic needs for 1 family for 1 month $300 will feed and provide basic needs for 1 family for 2 months $900 will feed and provide basic needs for 3 families for 2 months

Better to take up this problem in next note. The fact is that we are being betrayed n an antidote of illegitimacy of khurooz is distributed free of cost. Few of the paid scholars pass the fatwa and those who refuse to do so either are arrested or declared dangerous so by default exposed to the drones and Patriots of enemies. Among 40lakh Hajj pilgrims about 30percent are doing it second, third or 4th time. I dont understand why we go for so many Hajjs when we have not fed our family(muslim family). Ummah tried its best to solve some issues of jurisprudence and burnt mid night oil but we couldnt even shield a kid of Gaza against a bullet of Israel. We passed a fatwa to explain the illegitimacy of demonstrations in Muslim countries against the movie that mocked at our Prophet(saw) but no one among 57 nations, dared to shut down their services. . When Turkey was attacked by Syrian army, they retaliated ......when Israel attacked Sudan....Sudaneese r investigating!!!!!!???(lage raho). When Iranians support Syrian regime, Saudi cries, When Israel attacks unarmed Palestinians, Saudi not even talks about round table conference (their habbit).Muslims show such a respect n tolerance towards Israel n its allies but r tough to each other. So this is my Ummah in 2012. But still we celebrate Hajj2012, a day of sacrifice. As an Ummah the only thing we gained is bloodshed and few more cuts. But these cuts and wounds will remind me of a mission to liberate our lands and to keep a vigil on perfidious monarchs. With the Hajj 2012, we as an Ummah once again stand up to ignite the torch of truth and to challenge the Tagoot of our time whether it comes in the form of Western demons or a white clothed scholar. Despite of these downs and downs (not ups n downs), this Hajj reminds Myself, my community and My Ummah that this dark night will end with the twilight of truth breaking through falsehood and nothing will exist except ones deeds of sacrifice whether it be the sacrifice of desires, ego, animal or anything abstract. I PLEDGE MY ALLEGIANCE

Mistakes shud ignored

The Jews In Palestine By Mahatma Gandhi Published in the Harijan 26-11-1938. Several letters have been received by me, asking me to declare my views about the Arab-Jew question in Palestine and the persecution of the Jews in Germany. It is not without hesitation that I venture to offer my views on this very difficult question. My sympathies are all with the Jews. I have known them intimately in South Africa. Some of them became lifelong companions. Through these friends I came to learn much of their age long persecution. They have been the untouchables of Christianity. The parallel between their treatment by Christians and the treatment of untouchables by Hindus is very close. Religious sanction has been invoked in both cases for the justification of the inhuman treatment meted out to them. Apart from the friendships, therefore, there is the more common universal reason for my sympathy for the Jews. But my sympathy does not blind me to the requirements of justice. The cry for the national home for the Jews does not make much appeal to me. The sanction for it is sought in the Bible and the tenacity with which the Jews have hankered after return to Palestine. Why should they not, like other peoples of the earth, make that country their home where they are born and where they earn their livelihood? Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French. It is wrong and inhuman to impose the Jews on the Arabs. What is going on in Palestine today cannot be justified by any moral code of conduct. The mandates have no sanction but that of the last war. Surely it would be a crime against humanity to reduce the proud Arabs so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews partly or wholly as their national home. The nobler course would be to insist on a just treatment of the Jews wherever they are born and bred. The Jews born in France are French in precisely the same sense that Christians born in France are French. If the Jews have no home but Palestine, will they relish the idea of being forced to leave the other parts of the world in which they are settled? Or do they want a double home where they can remain at will? .................. And now a word to the Jews in Palestine. I have no doubt that they are going about it in the wrong way. The Palestine of the Biblical conception is not a geographical tract. It is in their hearts. But if they must look to the Palestine of geography as their national home, it is wrong to enter it under the shadow of the British gun. A religious act cannot be performed with the aid of the bayonet or the bomb. They can settle in Palestine only by the goodwill of the Arabs. They should seek to convert the Arab heart. The same God rules the Arab heart who rules the Jewish heart... They will find the world opinion in their favor in their religious aspiration. There are hundreds of ways of reasoning with the Arabs, if they will only discard the help of the British bayonet. As it is, they are co-sharers with the British in despoiling a people who have done no wrong to them. I am not defending the Arab excesses. I wish they had chosen the way of non-violence in resisting what they rightly regarded as an unwarrantable encroachment upon their country. But according to the accepted canons of right and wrong, nothing can be said against the Arab resistance in the face of overwhelming odds. Let the Jews who claim to be the chosen race prove their title by choosing the way of non-violence for vindicating their position on earth. Every country is their home, including Palestine, not by aggression but by loving service.
