For the past three years, we have asked majorinvestors across the spectrum rom institutionalto private, representing a broad cross section oproperty investors globally, or their outlook atthe global and regional level or the coming 12months and beyond.This year’s respondents included nearly 500investors rom the US, Canada, Latin America,Australia/New Zealand, Europe, Asia and theMiddle East. Overall, the majority o investorsindicated they wanted to expand their portolios.However, with risk profles varying by sectorand location, wealth preservation remains a keyeature o the investment landscape or the nearuture.A noticeable trend this year was that majorinvestors are becoming more critical whenselecting their investment locations. This wassupported by the overarching themes we oundwhen asking respondents about their investmentstrategies:1. A ocus on home regions2.
