Robbing require violence, because those who own do not want to part with them at all. So various kinds of violence is prevalent in various societies.

We all use various commodities everyday of our life. Modern life would be impossible without them.They are manufactured, packed, advertised and marketed. That applies to commodities like processedfood, cosmetics, health care, automobiles etc. etc the list is indeed very very long.The advertisements promote greed and lust in many disadvantaged sections of society. The haves areaffected and so are have-nots.But that list most likely would not include another kind of commodity that is a product of recent times thehuman beings that are sold, bought, stolen, robbed like the others. These commodities can be woman,man or labour!! They are advertised too, whether in the media like films, TV. People aspire to have themand indeed very often can go to any extent to acquire them whether through earning or robbing.Robbing requires violence, various kinds of violence is prevalent in various societies.Violence requires power and power requires force.That power can be economical, political or physical. Robbing someone is often considered to be a crime,but not always. Overtime various kinds of robbing becomes legitimate. For those who do not engagenormally in robbing, when come face to face then protest.Rape and shoot-outs are also examples of robbing. Indians are witnessing some protests against a gangrape. The criminals had more physical power over the victims. Similarly the young man who shot manyschool children in a school in US had power of a gun. He could easily procure that readily available
