Overview

Overview of ZXPOS
Operating efficiency and income of mobile telecom networks mostly depend upon network quality and capacity issues, which are directly reflected in the interface between subscribers and carriers. This is the focus of network optimization. Because of the changes of radio propagation environment and frequent need for expansion and upgrades, network optimization becomes a core daily work that carriers extremely concern. Network optimization staff urgently needs a complete set of supporting tools for network testing, analysis and diagnosis, to locate or predict network quality and capacity problems, and accordingly develop a network optimization program or plan. In this process, the network optimization analysis software plays an important role.

GPS Distance Calculation

GPS mileage calculation is to calculate the accumulated distance of each count points. D(1)=0; D(n) =D(2,1)D(3,2)D (n,n-1), n=2N. D(n,n-1) indicates the distance from D(n) to D(n-1). Under some situations, GPS data cannot be obtained. Here adopt the accumulated distance from the current point to the previous effective data point. It is suggested to eliminate the error and calculate the distance before correcting GPS data. Then the result is more accurate. Open the GPS handling interface, and select the file needed for distance calculation. Click Cal Distance to complete the calculation. The calculation result can be obtained by adding the GPS fieldDistance to Table.

GPS Fix Null Correction

In some situations, the data of the handset or scanner is reported before that of GPS device, so the GPS information may be deficient at the start of the test. This function is used for solve this problem. Open the GPS handle page, select the file for distance calculation, and then correct the GPS Fix Null to complete the data correction.

Appendix C: GoogleEarth (GE) Related

GEs Usage in CNA

When CNA is using GoogleEarth map, to enhance the performance, the map display function of GoogleEarth is disabled. Therefore, the map display window of GoogleEarth will display none. However, any operation on GoogleEarth will affect the display effect of CNA. For instance, import a KML file into GoogleEarth, and the file will display in CNA. After the GoogleEarth button is clicked, the GoogleEarth map is shown in the region. CNA adopts the partition algorithm to download the GoogleEarth map, which lasts for a period (decided by the computer configuration, and network speed). When downloading the GoogleEarth map, other operations (such as switching parameters, zoom in and zoom out) can continue. The GooglEarth map download window displays the map block in the process of download. The window has the Always on top attribute. Please do not hide the window or operate over the window; otherwise, any operation may affect the maps download effect. Note: If the downloaded map is not sound in effect, press F5 on the keyboard to refresh the GooglEarth map.

Suggested Setting of GoogleEarth

1. When CAN displays the GoolgeEarth map, close the navigation bar of GoogleEarth, as shown below. Since the navigator of GE

Solution: Drag the map or press F5 to refresh the map. 2. The download is half-done and the GoogleEarth map is blurry, yet the CNA stops downloading. Solution: Drag the map or press F5 to refresh the map. 3. In the process of map download, drag the download map window, and the GoogleEarth map displayed in CNA is disordered. 4. Reinstallation Problem after Unloading and Processing

Unload the old version ZXPOS CNA. The system requires to restart the computer, yet the user selects not to restart and installs the new version directly. The following problems may occur: 1. It cannot find borlndmm.dll, which leads to startup failure in ZXPOS CNA. 2. At the Programs of Startup menu, Uninstall of ZXPOS CNA is unusable, which leads to unload failure.

This is because some unload and clear operations of InstallShield are after system restart. The following is the solution.

Tip: Run InstallShieldBugFix.bat under BIN directory directly to solve the problem.

WORD Reports Success, yet No File Saved at the Local

Cause: Office automatically implements the load of some addins when creating WORD, which leads to the file save failure. Solution: This problem is normally caused by the UDS software of ZTE. Try the following methods to solve it. 1. First, copy a blank document at the computer without UDS system; then modify this original document as the template to be used. Note: The default template provided by CNA is the document not loaded with other template. If the user creates the template by oneself, the problem should be noted. 2. Close the Office software. Delete or rename masdms01.dll under the document security direction (the default directory is: C:\Program Files\MarkAny\Document SAFER). 3. If the problems cannot be solved, try the following methods to delete the faulty add-ins. (1) Open Office, and click Self-define at the tool menu. (2) Click the Command tab page. (3) Click Tool from the Category list. (4) Drag the COM Add-in to the toolbar. (5) Click Close to close the Self-define dialog box. (6) Click the new COM Add-in button to view the COM Add-in loaded with WORD. If the add-in is listed in the COM Add-in dialog box, close each add-in temporarily. Deselect the check box of each COM add-in and click OK. After restart WORD, the closed COM add-in will not be loaded. If the problem can be solved after closing COM add-in, the fault is caused by a listed COM add-in. If several COM add-ins are listed, reopen a COM add-in each time and then restart WORD to see which add-in leads this problem.
