Overview
Overview of ZXPOS
Operating efficiency and income of mobile telecom networks mostly depend upon network quality and capacity issues, which are directly reflected in the interface between subscribers and carriers. This is the focus of network optimization. Because of the changes of radio propagation environment and frequent need for expansion and upgrades, network optimization becomes a core daily work that carriers extremely concern. Network optimization staff urgently needs a complete set of supporting tools for network testing, analysis and diagnosis, to locate or predict network quality and capacity problems, and accordingly develop a network optimization program or plan. In this process, the network optimization analysis software plays an important role.
Chapter 2 Overview
of the integrated analysis on engineering parameter file and neighbor cell data. It mainly provides the following functions: Workspace, worksheet management; Data management (drive test file, engineering parameters); Data presentation; Custom events analysis; Custom IE analysis; BIN analysis; Time-delay analysis; Dynamic line; Filter, region filtering; Network optimization report and report generation; Troubleshooting;

Overview
The Troubleshoot module provides a group of lists for finding possible defects in current network. The user can use these methods to obtain defect and defect related information. Choose Analysis>Trouble Shoot to open the Troubleshoot window, as shown in the figure below.
At the File and Device selection boxes, select the file No. and device No. The second half part of the window will display the corresponding algorithm. ZXPOS CNA supports two kinds of analysis: pilot pollution algorithm analysis and coverage analysis.
84
Algorithm Analysis
Before pilot pollution analysis, right-click it and select Settings at the shortcut menu to define the pilot pollution algorithm. There are two kinds of general pilot pollution algorithm and two kinds of special pilot pollution algorithm. These algorithms can be combined in usage. Therefore, ZXPOS CNA supports six pilot pollution algorithms: General Pilot Pollution(A1), General Pilot Pollution(A2), General Pilot Pollution(A1+A2), Special Pilot Pollution(A1), and Special Pilot Pollution(A1+A2). Each algorithm has the shortcut function as shown below:

GPS Correction
GPS correction is mainly applied in drive test. When there are abnormal situations in GPS, such as occasional jump, systematic offset, the sampling time of GPS is far shorter than the aggregation caused by the sampling time of drive test device, etc. The data can be corrected after the event. The GPS data correction result can be compared through the two tracks before and after the correction, or the result can be viewed by refreshing related layer on the map directly.
90
3. If not to edit the original GPS data, and only to mark the accidental error point on the map, tick off the highlight item of the map. If to edit the original GPS data, do not tick off the highlight item of the map. 4. Input the max. speed limit of GPS. 5. Click Apply. If the highlight item of the map is not ticked off, a dialog box pops up, prompting: The data cannot be changed back if it is edited. After confirming, start calculation.
Aggregation Elimination
1. Select the drive test file needs to be corrected from the file list. 2. Choose Eliminate GPS Special Aggregation. 3. Select to use maximum distance or maximum speed. The two can be used simultaneously. 4. Input the maximum distance and (or) maximum speed. 5. Click Apply and a dialog box pops up, prompting: The data cannot be changed back if it is edited. After confirming, start calculation.

Data Sampling
When importing the test files of original data completely stored in APT, MDM, SD5, CAN processes samples according to a certain sampling rule and value rule.
Sampling Rule
By time Group the data according to the interval designated by the user.
By distance (mileage) Group the data according to the traveled distance (the distance threshold designated by the user).
121
ZXPOS CNA1 CDMA Wireless Network Optimization Analysis Software Users Manual
By signaling Group the data according to the signaling number interval designated by the user.
Value Rule
Max. value: max. value in the group Min. value: min. value in the group Medium value: The medium value in a group When the elements are odd, it directly returns the medium value. When the elements are even, it returns the average value of the two medium values. Average value: arithmetic mean value Latest value: the latest reported value
BIN Analysis
BIN analysis is to group test data according to a certain group rule, and then calculate the data of each group according to the specified value rule. Select a data as the representative of this group. This is to prevent the over-large weight of single sample number from affecting the global calculation result. The BIN analysis result in CNA will be added with an offset value (the smallest value in the group) for location.
Group Rule
By time Group the data according to the interval designated by the user.
122
By grid Group the data according to the grid size designated by the user. Min(Lon): min. longitude in all drive test points Min(Lat): min. latitude in all drive test points Max(Lon): max. longitude in all drive test points Max(Lat): max. latitude in all drive test points Min(Lon), Min(Lat), Max(Lon), Max(Lat): may not be the point in the drive test track The BIN analysis result in CNA will be added with an offset value (the smallest value in the group) for location. Adopt the longitude and latitude of the grid central point as the longitude and latitude of the grouping.
By distance (mileage) Group the data according to the traveled distance (the distance threshold designated by the user).
