To my beloved customers, After working with around 350 clients in the area of consulting and training, and 800 clients in the area of Process Auditing for past one decade, it has come my awareness that - the money spend on advertisements are not being effectively utilised by majority of the clients. Once discussed about this, it came to my awareness that this was because of the lack of scientific understanding about Advertisement process, Consumer Psychology, importance of Marketing research and Customer Relationship Management. Hence one of my major aim before joining IIM A for a full time residential course spread across four months was to strengthen the skill sets on Marketing and Advertisements. This course is designed for CEOs or Board members of Private and Public sector companies as a Management Development Programme (MDP). Up on successful completion of the course work a certificate will be granted to each participant. This 12 hour course delivery module along with six hour prior reading notes about basic concepts are given to every participant. The course only uses legal Harvard Business Review international case studies for international cases and IIM A case studies for National cases registered in international case banks. At the advanced level, advertisements of around 24 different companies from different sectors both national and international are being analysed and interpreted in different sets of practical work-shops to identify the Brand value, Company Value, Brand Promise, Market Differentiation, Product differentiation, Market Positioning and its relationship with other Marketing Processes such as Marketing Research, Innovation and Consumer Psychology.
