The Kingdom of God and the Rich
 By, Apostle John Eckhardt,
 Be Blessed!!!To order visit:
Luke 6:24
But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
The kingdom of God does not cater to the proud, and the rich. It does not consist of  EARTHLY POMP (ostentatious or vain display, especially of dignity or importance. pompous displays, actions, or things) like natural kingdoms, because it is heavenly and spiritual. The rich may have advantages on the earth that the poor do not have, but they do not have an
advantage in the kingdom. The kingdom is not impressed with man’s riches or
position. The kingdom is available to all, including the poor. In the kingdom, the rich are often at a disadvantage. This is because MAMMON is a god, and men who love money will find it difficult to enter the kingdom. Pride will prevent one from entering, and HUMILITY is a priority in the Kingdom of God
Matthew 11:5
The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and thedeaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
Luke 7:22
Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things yehave seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
The gospel, (good news), was received by the poor. They were in a position to receive becauselife had crushed and broken them. They were the ones in need. The rich on the other hand felt they had no need. They were fat and self-sufficient. God is not against wealth and riches. God  does not want wealth and riches to replace him. There were wealthy people that entered the kingdom. Joseph of Arimathaea is an example.
