Materials: Bernat Satin Worsted Yarn 1 skein. Needles size 6 & 8 Circular 16, double pointed needles size 8 Yarn needle, button if desired

Stitch Marker BERET With size 6 circular needles, cast on 100 sts and join being careful not to twist stitches. Place marker for beg of row. Work in K1, P1 ribbing for 6 rows. Change to size 8 needle. Inc Row: *(K5, Inc 1 st in next st)* rep from * to*around. (120 sts) Pattern Row: Work in stockinette stitch for 5 rows, and work in garter stitch for 5 rows. Continue working in stockinette stitch until it measure 5. Shape Top: Row 1: *K2, K2tog, K2; rep from * around. (100 sts) Rows 2, 3, 4: Work in stockinette stitch Row 5: *K2, K2tog, K1; rep from * around. (80 sts) Rows 6, 7, 8: Work in stockinette stitch Row 9: *K2, K2tog; rep from * around. (60 sts) Rows 10, 11, 12: Work in stockinette stitch Row 13: *K1, K2tog; rep from * around. (40 sts) Rows 14, 15, 16: Work in stockinette stitch Row 17: *K2tog; repeat around. Row 18: Knit. Row 19: Repeat row 17. With yarn needle and leaving a long tail, run through remaining stitches and draw up and secure. Weave in all ends.
