My partner recently did a three day seminar on this topic and still had significant challenges in integrating this into our practice. IV therapy is a major intervention that requires significant additions (e.g. crash cart, O2, an IV room, etc.) to implement safely and profitably. While I think this is a useful topic, I am concerned that many important issues, like hands on training, cost of implementation, and safety issues will be only minimally addressed. If this topic is primarily about doing an IV push in the treatment room, which could possibly be addressed in such an abbreviated forum, and not about doing full-blown IV therapy, or if it is only an introduction to IV therapy, it should say so. It is very disappointing to attend a seminar after being set up for the wrong set of expectations.
