The City of Langley has long sought to make significant improvements to the transportation network by eliminating road/rail conflicts. Most recently, the City, with funding from TransLink and the Province, constructed the 204 Street Overpass. This project was constructed with sufficient capacity to meet the needs of the City and the Township as part of an integrated, long term transportation solution. We see the Mufford/64 design option as an essential element of an integrated transportation network in the region. ‘The Mufford/64 design as currently envisaged achieves a number of significant benefits to our communities and the region as a whole: + Network redundancy — creates an alternate east/west corridor to link the communities and provide a route that can be used if other, very limited routes are unavailable. * Network connectivity — provides a contiguous east/west corridor stretching from Hwy 91 in Delta, through Surrey to east of 232 Street in Langley. In addition, it will also provide more connectivity options for the communities when the Province constructs a new interchange at 216 SUHwy 1. 3219 diysumoy, aimonnseyuy pue uoyeyodsuery Jo Ansty ‘masseig AUELY ‘peur. vodsuery, ‘oapypins tun, yurysuesy YseBiepuatg wo, Aa[Suey — TW “Fe1Od 1B 21GeINOUOH{ AaySue7] — dy mere HEY SrOTTOUNOD Arty Aafaue] — 299 soko sopuogsseg 19104 “HL ZH ABTONV1 dO ALIO “Anny sino, “uorSou ayy pue sanrumuruos mo uy saSuaqTey UoNEUOdsueEN amp ssauppe 0} onunuod am ,say.a8on,, se KapSueT] Jo drysuMoy, auf tim BurOM 0} PrEMUIO} YOO] 9A, puokaq pue foj8ue'] 0} Kaumg woy [res AyUMUNIOD pue [YT PAS] TONS “UAL AAS Jo uorsuayxe amp Zuipnjsur suondo woneHodsuen somo Jo uorexojdxa aup 0} partuTWH0D UreUIEY 9m “UOTTIPpE UT “aNsst sty UO YUr]sUEL] PUL doUTAOIY BU) “epeULD Jo USWIUIOACD au Aqqoy 0} Aa[Buey Jo diysumoy, oy) YEA OM OF anuTUOD [ILM aAy “Aa[Bue'] Jo AND ayy yBnony dqpersedso pue sonrunwuios ano uo syyen [tex £Avay Jo edu weoyTUsIS ayy saziuBosar kap8ue7] Jo AID amp‘, UoRdO,, 01 WoRIsoddo mo BupuerstpANON, “ur wondo,, 01 pasoddo st £apue] Jo A115 24) reYp [LouNoD AajBue] Jo drysumo, 0} puoday wo indo} 1uEM 9m pure AafUMUNLIOD sno oy edu aanedau juvoyTUBIs o}eDI9 [1M .£ UENO, 1eYp BAdt|aq AiSuONS 2” “AoedeO Teuonippe Burpraosd weyp soyes Aiansouuod ysomyisea optaoid 01 sseddg A2jBuEy ue anuany 9¢ ‘AemysiH{ Josery Uo Afar 0} sanuNuoD oRdo siyy, “sopTuNUTUOD m0 LO Sau JARs 1980] puw HONSABtIOD pasearoUT UL y[NSOF [[1AA PBDISUE INq LORJOS YLOAJOU BE S{ Jou UoRNjos payexaqut ue jou st ,¢ UoNdO,, 1eUp SanatTaq kopBUeT Jo AID IY, “unary 24p 40} pue mou 10} saBu9]qEyo uonepodsuen ssotaas/spoo8 pur ajdoad mo 0} uonnyos ysoq oup sjuasaidax uondo usisop poproHsyY yp veMp SaAat}ag Ka|Buer] Jo Auk3 aMp ‘Ife1ax0 Ing AxAnaautUOD eo0} Noqe ‘sw20U00 aos aABY JIS 2% UE poZTTEUIY U99q 10U SEY UBISIp aqp veyP azIUBODOI 2. ‘ Pur suoissiue HD ‘soup jaaen Sufonpas Kqasayy oygen feuordax pue peo] jo Moy sip soaorduT « “Ayeanoaye pue
