Searching an optimal file manager for end user LE Hoang Nhi
 
Why do we need an optimal file manager?
Beginning with the music player, every bodyagree with me that Songbird, Banshee,Rhythmbox manage the music file better thanXmms.
So I want to manage all my multimedia(music, video, photo...) in a media center like this way.Final, I want to have an application tomanage all my documents (multimedia,docs...) by this modern file manager.

Modern file manager:
Panel filter (PF)
I call the old and modern file manager that's File browser and PanelFilter. I don't talk about a specific software but about wholecharacters specified of many softwares.

We're almost on the same page for this, but I prefer F-Spot as the model instead of RB. You need to back it all with full-text search and tags, though. blog.ibeentoubuntu.com/2009/04/gnome-30-please-get-rid-of-file.html
