How do I Apply?
Applications will begin on January 14, 2013 Pick up an Alternate Program Application Form from your current school Submit application to the Richmond School Board, 7811 Granville Avenue, 1st Floor, by Monday, February 4 at 4:00 p.m. Draw date: Tuesday, February 12, 2013 Applicants will be informed of draw results by email by February 18, 2013
Things to Note:
LFI will be offered at 3 schools in Richmond if enrolment is sufficient: Whiteside, Diefenbaker and McNeely Transportation is the parents responsibility
Acceptance into the school of choice is on a lottery basis.
Sibling Priority
Priority will be given to a child who has a sibling in the immersion program in the same school at the same time and there is space.
If there are more sibling applicants than spaces, there will be a separate draw in that school.
Siblings of students enroled in the English program are not given sibling priority in LFI.
