•1.5 year old child .male•Presentation was abdominal swelling which was noticed by thefamily after a simple fall .no any other complaint has beenmentioned at all.•All investigations , blood count ,biochemisteryurine and otherswere normal apart from U S scan which has revealed amass in theliver not properly mentioning its anatomical location.•C T scan has revealed a mass in the segment 5 and 6 of the liver.He has been explored through bilateral subcostalincisions .righthepatic lobectomyhas been performed without using anytechnology .the resection of the parenchyma has been done bysmall cut and suture cm by cm until all the resection has beencompleted .he had un eventful recovery .chemo therapy has beenplanned for him with follow up.•Sulaimanyhospital 6/2008.
