Hi, I'm Ron fromHawaii. I'm here withMari from Japan. Today we're gonna be talking about food. So Mari, what's your favoritecuisine?

Mari:

I think I like American food.

Ron:

What type of American food?

Mari:

I like hamburgers.

Ron:

Hamburgers. Isthat your favorite dish as well?

Mari:

That is my favorite dish. My favoritehamburger place is rightnear where I went touniversity and they havethis hamburger calledthe Danish Burger, andthe Danish Burger hasblue cheese inside thehamburger, so I love ...my favorite dish has tobe the Danish Burger.

Ron:

Do you like any side things like frenchfries with yourhamburger?

Mari:

I love french friesbut I know that eating hamburger and frenchfries is a little bitunhealthy so I alwaysreplace the french friesfor a salad.

Ron:

A salad. OK. Whatabout dessert? What's your favorite dessert?

Mari:

My favoritedessert has to bechocolate cake.

Ron:

Chocolate cake. Anything else? Do youlike to eat it withanything?

Mari:

No, I likechocolate cake by itself. Anything else? I likebrownie sundaes, likebrownies and choc ...brownies with vanilla ice

cream. I guess my favorite dessert isanything chocolaty.

Ron:

Sounds good. Sobefore you said you liketo eat a salad. What typeof salad, what type of vegetables do you like?

Mari:

I like all vegetables. I like themcooked or raw but Idon't like raw onions.

Ron:

Not raw onions.

Mari:

I really can't eatonions raw. That'sprobably the only vegetable I can't eat raw.

Ron:

That's interesting.
