To whom it may concern, up in our State! I need your help!Hello and thank you for listening to my concerns about CPS and my family. My name isPatricia Wilson and I am telling you about my daughter’s family the Novak FamilyIn April 08 my daughter told me she was having problems with her husband lying to her and she was not happy anymore I felt hurt and confused because I couldn’t understandhow things got like this to make my daughter feel like this so I made sure I was therelistening and helping in anyway I could.In May of 2008 I started noticing things such as him not being home much and the grandkids coming to me and telling me he would put holes in the wall and drink and he brokethe TV when he was home. I would go confront him and he would tell me he was under great stress and he shouldn’t have done these things. I told him if he didn’t change Danawas going to leave. He always reassured me things would get better but Dana wasworking on moving to my home with the children. I told her let the bills go because shecouldn’t keep up with them and I wasn’t going to pay them. I felt they were digging ahole.Daniel had a 100,000 thousand dollar including bonus’s Career and he worked for Southwest Machine Works. The other side of his family owned the company and I sawthem treating Daniel badly at times they would push him around all the time. Work himall hours, put him down emotionally and if when he got sick they made him work sick.Daniel does have a cist on the back of his brain and he has some really rare disease thatcan progress and he can die from this and this can move rapidly. The doctors can’t stop it.I know he has seizures too and maybe this is from the cist on his brain.Daniel came to us and told us he had some friends that wanted to partner with Daniel to buy a Machine Shop in the beginning of 2008. He looked for support from our family because this was his dream to own his own machine shop. We told him we would supporthim but not to say anything to anyone and get his bills ahead 3 to 6 months to keep him afloat. That didn’t happen he ended up telling his brother that worked at Southwest, whichtold his cousin and the trouble started there and they started treating Daniel very badly.They were mad at him and started to try to build this case against him because theythought Daniel was going to steal there business but Daniel had no intentions on doingthis because my husband explained the law to him plus he wouldn’t do that to his family.Dana my daughter his wife wanted him to keep his job, she was scared of the unknownand forget the Shop he wanted. Due to how his family at the shop was treating Daniel hewanted to try it anyway. His cousin told people he would make him fall. Daniel pulledeverything out of retirement and went for it and he was going to work part-time at hisshop and keep his fulltime job. His cousin his boss kept his promise and started messingwith Daniel at every turn and out of almost 12 years for working for his company withoutany write ups he fired Daniel.

His boss Kenny Novak tried to find by calling all his lenders if Daniel had told them he bought a shop. Kenny could not find anyone to hang Daniel out to dry to sue him.I am explaining this because I want you to know where all the pressure and stress startedwith Daniel.So Daniels Brother Anton and Kenny were driving pass the Daniels New Machine shoptaking pictures and Daniel filed for unemployment and his Cousin Kenny fought him andKenny took his last check and changed his wages to where he almost got nothing andgarnished money out of the check for something he claimed Daniel owed him. Kennyalso froze the last bit of his retirement saying he didn’t honor something and took hismoney out of Daniels retirement.Daniel and Dana had checks and bills coming through and didn’t ask us for help at thetime and didn’t tell us everything and got in a very bad hole finically. Daniel never gotunemployment. The money he made at the his new shop he was putting it back intomaterials to keep the doors opened. Than the two partners that went in on this companywith Daniel were never there to support him. Daniel was running a one man show and afew people did try to help him for free. Daniel was working day and night and the morehe worked the more broke he got and the more he sank and the bills running into 3months over due put to much strain on him. Everybody was yelling at Daniel but us.Daniel always seemed to me like he had ADHD because he had a lot of energy and hecouldn’t stay focused on one thing. He would try to do to many things at once andsometimes that would get him paying attention on one thing and not the other. Daniel hasalways been polite and kind even when I was upset at him for him beating up the househe has never disrespectful to me.When I learned he pushed my grandson and I thought he was being abusive I just heard itfrom the kids and Dana but never saw it. My husband and I used the opportunity of Daniel being broke and needing help to move them into our home so we could try to helpthem get help. I have known Daniel Novak the father of my grand kids for 12 years andnever once have I seen him be violent or the family in this shape of depression. In fact hewas always a hard worker a good husband and good dad.I drew my line and stepped in to help them pick up their life, nothing was probably worsefor Daniel to move in with his in laws, even though he loved us because he probably felthe was failing but at this point they had no where to turn and his stress level wasapparently affecting him to the point I felt the need to get my daughter and grandkidsunder my roof. I moved them in June of 2008After they moved in I never saw Daniel do anything but Dana was telling me what hewas doing at night and I saw signs from the children. I was keeping a strong eye onDaniel at this time.

I talked and talked to Daniel finally I got him to let go of his shop and I told him I didn’tlook at him as a failure because he did his best but it was time to move on and forwardand go get a job. My husband and I paid 1000’s trying to get them out of the hole andthings just kept on coming in. I took over the children and Dana because that is my job asher mother and their grandmother. During these hard times my daughter bleed for 4months with no health insurance and a lot of pain to the point she would go to thehospitals.When Daniel got fired at Southwest the doctors said she had skin cancer and a week before they fired Daniel even after they took money out of his check for Medical theCousin Kenny his boss canceled his Dental before he fired him and medical the same daythey fired him which left Dana hung out to dry with her medical issues. So this worriedme because of the bleeding and pain all the time but they were such in the hole I had tokeep paying for things so they didn’t go deeper and lose their house and car, they hadalready pawned things to pay bills and I was getting that stuff out too. Buying Schoolclothes and everything the children needed.During the Hurricane we went out of pocket 5000.00 dollars because we had so manyhere. I caught Daniel in two lies that I thought he was having a mental breakdown or something. Once he said, my husband tried starting a generator and got shocked andcouldn’t release from it and Daniel saved the day by turning it off and saved his life. Myhusband said he got shocked but nothing like that happened and laughed.The second one was the generator got gas on it in the middle of the night when Danieland my husband were filling it up and when they started it the generator caught fire, I sawthe flames got a fire extinguisher threw it to my husband and he put it out. Daniel told myneighbors that he had to play fireman because the generator caught fire which caught our RV on fire and he had to get the family out to save us.At that time I thought that was weird and my neighbors laughed saying he wanted to be ahero with something and there was so much going on around us major after the storm Ididn’t focus on that. I focus on the priorities like food and water and ice and keeping thekids calm.Daniel finally got his job back at Southwest Machine works Oct 3

2008 but with not asmuch pay and Daniel got insurance but not Dana and the first 3 checks Kenny took money out of his check saying him owed him money for something which left Daniel broke.Daniel tried to get his 23,000 out of his partners that he invested they wouldn’t give it back. They changed the locks on the shop wouldn’t give him any of his stuff because theygot mad because he couldn’t work for free anymore and be a one man job and went back to his job.Oct 11
