Experience

2012-2014: Art and history guide for English visitors, customer service.
Tasks included guided tours for the Synagogue and Ghetto of the Jewish
Community of Vercelli (Italy), handling of books and antique textiles,
assistance to visitors during concerts and lessons.

2010-2011: Curator/editor and translator for the Fondazione del Museo del Tesoro del Duomo e
Archivio Capitolare ('Archive and Museum Foundation of the Duomo') , Vercelli, Italy.
Tasks included text composition and revision, proofreading, translation of the first museum multilingual
mini-catalogue 'Museum in the pocket. A museum for the young ('Il Museo in tasca. Un museo per i giovani)
as the final step of teaching and lecturing work on museum history and heritage awareness and conservation

2009-2011: Museum Operator at the 'Archive and Museum Foundation of the Duomo', Vercelli
(Italy).
Tasks included handling and framing of collection artefacts (reliquaries, parchment - scroll and codex -,
textiles) for conservation and display, volunteers training/supervision, exhibition panels text proofing, drawing
promotional illustrations, guided tours.
Ideation, implementation and management of educational activities for primary and secondary school classes
and families. Themes examples: medieval gardens and the natural world, use of colours and symbols based on
painting, frescoes, textiles and other collection artifacts; food habits and related ceramics, illuminating
manuscripts, paper and parchment-making, intro to goldsmithery and enamels/glass techniques.
