Making a Recovery Planning Association

Noda Village is in the northernmost area damaged by tsunami and earthquake in March 11st, 2011. We held two studentcharrette-workshops in Jury 2011 and August 2012 in cooperation with some key persons in Noda.
In 2012 workshop, we put five themes; 1design of residential area on the hillJonai area, 2plan for recovery of central
commercial streetHoncho Street, 3plan for the site along the seathe sands, seawalls, memorial park and transportation
system, 4revival model for industries and occupations, 5new training method for disaster prevention by Noda people.
Through these activities, we tried to interpret and translate the recovery plan by public sectors and add some ideas for making it
richer. We also hope that these will become the chance of gathering many kinds of actors for recovering Noda Village.
