PROCEDURE Determination Concentration Of Commercial Acetic Acid 5ml of Acetic Acid + 1-2 drop of PP indicator Titrate Acetic Acid with NaOH until the colour change present in solution constantinously Write the volume of NaOH soluton used Repeat titration up to two times Calculate the concentration of the commercial Acetic Acid Determination Concentration of Mixture between NaOH and Na2CO3 2,5 ml of NaOH + 2,5 ml of Na2CO3 + 1-2 drop of PP indicator Titrate mixture with HCl until the colour present in solution contantinously Then add MO indicator 1-2 drop Write the volume of HCl solution used Repeat titration up to two times Calculate the concentration of the mixture solution Determination of concentration of NH3 in NH4Cl solution 5ml NH4Cl + 5ml NaOH Heat until NH3 escapes with the vapour (tested by a piece of filter paper moistened with Hg2(NO3)2 ) Cool the solution drop of MO indicator 1-2 drops Titrate with HCl Record the volume of HCl Calculate the concentration of NH3 in NH4Cl solution OBSERVATION
