Job Description:
The Bilingual Services Intern will perform an assessment of the number of Hispanic families in the neighborhood and determine their needs.Intern will work with Case Managers to locate local services for referrals. He or she will also focus on translating forms and makerecommendations for interacting with residents in the future.
Overview of Responsibility:

Enhance communication with residents through translation of formsand education.

Determine needs of Hispanic residents.

Create a best-practice guide for bilingual services.

Work with bilingual residents to create sustainable programs.
Position Requirements:

Proficient in Spanish.

Intern must have excellent communication skills, both written andverbal.

Highly motivated, self-directed, responsible person with a track record of successful achievements.

Intern must be able to work alone and with team members.

Intern must be able to think, work, and function independently.

Must be entering junior or senior year in college.

Access to a car or bike for transportation.

A laptop or computer.
