INTRODUCTION
In this experiment we are trying to see if the amount of doses of alcohol that will give to a black worm will change its behavior and mobility. The black worm is a type of species that lives in moist places like ponds, lakes, and swamps. So overall, we will be working with some black worms and see different experiments might have an effect on them and study how they react to it.

HYPOTHESIS
If concentrated alcohol is going to change the black worms behavior and how it reacts to the does we give it to. I believe more alcohol will change the behavior of the black worm and affect their mobility then will compare different experiments and see if they changed throughout them and see which ones made the big difference in the behavior of the black worms.

PROCEDURE
1. Obtain 8 weighing boats and mark with pencil 2. Then fill beaker with 500ml of distilled water- using graduated cylinder 3. Then fill 100ml beaker with 60ml of the alcohol stock solution 4. Then in step 5 make a 50ml graduate cylinder and pipettes and make sure the alcohol dilutions are followed: 5. Solution1- low concentration of Alcohol 6. Solution2- medium concentration of Alcohol 7. Solution3- High concentration of Alcohol 8. After, use a spoon to get 30-50 worms into the distilled water in the 500ml beaker.

RESULTS
Answer all of the questions from the handout here.

1. Well we can experiment different tests and see weather a given toxin or chemical and see what happens to the human or the test substance.

2. The experiment must have had a control group which is a group that doesnt change and then they must have an experimental group that to test on so I think they must of have had two groups and different experiments to do with them and see what were the difference.

3. I would predict that it would kill the black worm quickly if and only if the substance given to it was a lot or just deadly.

4. The exposure would be in the skin and how long the skin can hold the toxic chemical back until death.

5. Age is a reliable thing to consider because when humans get older there body starts getting weaker and get not stand vs strong toxins. Genitic Difference can be depenent on because it does depend on what your past family members have had in the past. Body size matters because a big person would have to take a bigger dose of medicine rather than a smaller kid that takes a dose that fits his size.

6. Sublethal is a certain amount of a dose. deadly substance given.

And Lethal concetration are more and

7. The system would be the immune system because it helps the body attack or help the body when theres something toxic in the body.

8. Some can reverible because if the worm isnt badly hurt. badley injured than it probaly cant recover.

But if the worm is

9. Each time over 6 (Time) had changed the behavoir a lot of the worm. That they experimented those four but left out the other one for the control group.

10. The control group is the one that doesnt change.

11. You can test some vapours in the air or Gasses that may have an affect on humans or the environment.

12. It plays a major role because if someone that sits on the couch and eats chips all day v.s. someone that exercises than the one that doesnt exercise would have some health issues if they had or givern an toxin.

13. Both because they can see what behavoirs humans and vertebrets can have and see also how they recover.

14. In conclusion this lab I learned how different scientific experiments can have or make a point go across to see if and how the person or animal goes through the system and reacts to the experiment.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion the worms did get affected by the alcohol and caffeine and made them bleed and recover but some of the high concentration made the worms die. My hypothesis was correct because I said that certain doses of alcohol or caffeine will affect the behavior of the worms which they did.

REFLECTION
This lab was so much fun and I had a blast doing and learning about how worms can be affected by certain doses of alcohol and caffeine. I would recommend to do this same experiment next for other classes.
