: Hola! It’s iMack; I became a wJunction member in July 2008. Itwas when I was in the scene with a different name and stuck to one site with thescene name ‘Blackhood’, I searched for signature makers on Google and came acrossa site named ‘WrzBoard’ which was managed by AK47. I got attached to it andstarted helping out by posting gradually I hit the point where AK47 promoted me toSuper Moderator and then finally the Administrator role which almost every memberthrives for. AK47 then referred me to wJunction and that is when I came up with thename ‘iMack’. I was really inspired by the host’s on wJunction and thought that I’dcreate my own; with the help of wJunction members and staff I created‘TheHostingPalace’. Now TheHostingPalace is well known on wJunction and othersites.

: Hello my name is Michigan033. I started in the "WarezScene" around May 2008. I began by starting off at W-BB then Branching off to WS. Then I decided to start my own Warez site, along with one of my long time onlinefriends. Together we started Mac-Warez.org. A successful Mac based Warez site. Thesite now has 2700+ Members. With around 30 members/guests online at all times. Ialso own a few other sites, these include... Mac-DDL, Warezfanatics (Co-owner), Win-Warez (Up Coming Network Site), and a few others.

: Howdy! I have joined the warez scene a couple of yearsago. It all started with avaxhome.ru when I downloaded nero ... as they say ,,love atfirst sight”. After that,I found Katz and saw the community idea and I joinedDownloadForum , and many other sites came after that. I joined WJ in 2008 and I sawhow great the warez scene is. Currently I run Jet Hacker’s NexusDDL and I ammoderator at WarezLobby and ScriptJunkies.

You know there is a saying “When someone pulls you on a string, there are two thingsyou can do; cut it, or play tug of war.” Online world is not always the safest place todo the business. Things could go wrong within a second if you are not careful andsmart enough to tackle when the problem arises. Scams are very common thesedays and even you could be the next victim.WJunction is a very popular forum for people who constantly visit warez websites andwant to know more information on warez sites or webmaster information. At WJ youcan discuss about warez websites, hosting, technical assistant, webmaster resourcesetc and additionally, you can buy and sell anything. On December 14
th
, 2008,ArtiFaxwho is a member at WJunction forum posted athreadin order to sell one warez sitenamely USAWarez.com and USAWarez.net with the unreleased database. As itseemed, the websites had a good Alexa ranking. Everything looked legitimate at firstwhen the members started to bid on the auction thread. ArtiFax consistently claimedthat the sites are worth very high and anyone who buys them could literally make$200-$250 per day. Surely the offer was very tempting. The bidding moved on. Members asked why he wanted to sell the site when theywere making a perfect income. ArtiFax replied that he didn’t have any time tomanage the site and he had some other projects. As cool as it seemed, people gotexcited about it and the bids went up to $1000. Initially, a senior member,iMack got suspicious and asked where the sites were hosted. ArtiFax explained everythingcarefully and confidently that USAWarez.com was on GoDaddy and USAWarez.net wason NameCheap. He then continued that the auction was placed only at WJ and hewas going to post it in another forum Digital point. Everybody got motivated as thosedomains were high traffic & had large profit earnings. ArtiFax further explained in histhread that he would send the payment screenshots which would be given for thosewho were interested to buy those domains. As the site was shut down twice before,he added that it was due to failure to pay server fees. No wonder why a website thatmakes thousands of dollars a month failed to pay few hundred bucks. He convincedpeople that WarezScene is huge and his website was even bigger and could makemore money which depends how the owner would manage them. As the discussionmoved on, ArtiFax continued to add thatthe highest bid was $1300.Since USAWarez.com and USAWarez.net seemed down at the time of the auction,ArtiFax explained that traffic will increase once they were reopened and that theforums were highly modified and had hundreds of thousands of threads and postsincluding a valuable database. He explains in hispostthat truly makes all to believethat this was a legitimate business and not a scam. Despite of some arguments, thebid continued to move on and reached $1,300 and then to $1,400 with a condition toincrease the next bid with an increment by $100.As the biding started to increase more, on December 12
