Description

"Your task is not to seek love, but merely to seek and find all of the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. It is not necessary to seek for what is true, but it is necessary to seek for what is false. Every illusion is one of fear, whatever form it takes." A quote from A Course In Miracles. A lady named Helen Schucman was guided from her Voice from within to write these words.

These words are so profound and yet we seem to forget to do this most important task which will allow our intuitive sense, also called our inner essence or voice to shine through us. Many of us like to gloss things over. Making everything appear to be just fine. How many times have you felt like a bag of poop and were having a more than challenging day? And when someone asked you how you were doing, you responded with the words "I'm just fine." Perhaps with a little tension or anxiety. How many days do you go on doing this and then begin really believing that you'd be asking for too much if you expressed what was true to you? Or you just didn't want to inconvenience anyone. I am not saying to lie down and wallow in these feelings. I am saying to recognize and acknowledge your feelings for what they are and then move on. It is one thing to deny these feelings and save them for another day when you least expect their so gracious presence because I can guarantee they will show up again. Or you can express this poop day feeling and then go on. When you recognize your day for what it is, amazingly it changes.

Yes, it is important to be grateful and have appreciation for what you do have and even for what you don't have, but that also could be another form of not dealing with what is really going on inside of you right now. I really think many of us are in denial because if we had to see things for the way they really are we would choke or perhaps we would need a bucket for our endless tears. But this is the beginning of change. The process of becoming who you really want to be. It is not the most pleasant place initially. It is usually scary, empty and dark because of the "shadow figures" that come to join you. But if you desire and have a willingness to change a wondrous transformation will happen.

Let's get real with how we feel. This is the beginning of transformation.
