Task:
Change a famous Greek or Roman myth into a comic strip format.
Preparation
(A) Read a few myths and select the one you want to convert.(B) Write a paragraph explaining why you chose the myth from the ones you read.(C) Research comic strip writing and drawing. Think about the style thatbest fits your myth. Sketch different styles in your notebook. Record usefullinks on your blog.

Read your myth very carefully and look up any words you do notunderstand.
Planning and story-boarding
(i)
Read your myth again and list the main events inthe story.
(ii)
Using simple drawings create a draft of your comicstrip and add all the dialogue and narration.
(iii)
Read the criteria below again carefully and makechanges if you notice something could be better.
(iv)
Get the opinions of others. Swap with a peer andshow your draft to the teacher.
(v)
Make final changes to the draft.

Do you need to add or remove any panels?
Publish Now you are ready to draw and create your finalstoryboard. Do this carefully and add colour asrequired. Use A4 paper. Scan your comic strip andadd to your English blog as a portfolio piece.
