KINGS (KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School), opened in March of 2012 aiming at nurturing leadership-level professionals in planning, design, construction and operation of nuclear power plants, invites distinguished professors to take part in bringing the school to a world-class level.

2. Position: Full-time faculty 3. Qualifications - The applicants for Academic Professors o The applicants must have Ph.D. or be Ph.D. candidates in the field they are applying for. However, Ph.D. candidates must be awarded their degree before the date of appointment. o The applicants may apply for other areas if their specialties are proved. o The applicants must have research achievements, demonstrated by papers in scholarly publication(including accepted dissertations)

within the last 4 years. - The applicants for Practical Professors o The applicants must have Ph.D. and successful track records of a minimum of ten years of industrial experiences in nuclear industry in

the field they are applying for. However, outstanding professionals without a Ph.D. are also eligible to apply if they have made considerable contributions to nuclear industry in their application field. o The applicants must have research or professional achievements within the last 5 years.

4. Terms of Contract - Full-time professor is offered a three-year contract from March, 2013(scheduled) - The contract is renewed based on education & research performance evaluation after the completion of the contract. - Salary is subject to the School regulations, varies according to the seniority of the position (assistant, associate, or full professor), and may vary according to the contract. - False information may entail termination of the contract at any time.

5. Required Documents PDFs of two(2) representative papers sufficient to document research achievements and one(1) copy of the dissertation or thesis for the highest degree listed on the application form. o For Academic professors, published research achievements within 4 years(since Nov. 29, 2008) will be accepted. (Papers to be published will be accepted only with written confirmations.) - English translations for those written in other language must be submitted. - For those published or to be published in journals of the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) or international academic journals including SCI, SCIE, A&HCI, SSCI, and SCOPUS, proof documents must be submitted. o For Practical professors, research or professional achievements within 5 years(since Nov. 29, 2007) will be accepted. - Including such information as participation rate, research organization, research results and performance evaluation results.

Official transcripts and the certificates of diplomas for both Master's and Ph.D. degrees. Proof of employment, including employment history, listed in the application form. Certificates of Patent registration, if any. Two(2) letters of recommendation from those who specialized in the same field of the application.
