THE EVENT
 The International Student Energy Summit (ISES) is a global forum that focuses onsustainable resource management and the role that students will play in defining the futureof energy development. The event is set to take place in Calgary, Alberta Canada fromJune 11-13, 2009.
THE TARGET
ISES brings together a delegate base of 500 international, multidisciplinary post-secondary students in undergraduate and graduate studies. This event will create anetwork of driven individuals looking to make a difference in the energy sector.
THE FOCUS
Our program focuses on three main pillars that address today’s key energy issues:-
Finance, Regulation and Sustainability 
analyzes the current energy market andaddresses the development of new forms of energy.-
Global Energy Cooperation
addresses how energy impacts geo-politics and globaldevelopment as the world becomes increasingly interdependent-
Technology and Innovation
focuses on new processes and technologies beingdeveloped and implemented in both conventional and alternative disciplines.
Bringing together the next generation of energy leaders to instill inthem the passion and knowledge to bring about a sustainablefuture.
 
 The mission of the International Student Energy Summit is to empower the next generation of energy leaders to facilitate the globaltransition for a sustainable energy future.-
Educate
students about the current issues in global energy management.-
Inspire
students with the knowledge and courage to challenge the current energy system.-
Encourage
students to collaborate with the global political, and corporate community to discuss current issues and createalternative solutions.-
Unite
like-minded students motivated to lead the world to a sustainable energy future. The delegates will produce a published report distributed to energy leaders that outlines student expectations for the futureof the energy sector.
