2013, for many, is a new beginning. Isn't that something we all wishfor, a chance to start anew? But can we truly begin again? And is itwise to try? These are questions with many possible answers.
What is certain is that our past is a part of who we are. And, part of healthy beginning is accepting and honoring who we are because of it. Then, our intrinsic yearning to be given another chance is hopefullypredicated on something closer to the truth. Thework then becomes remembering the pastwithout getting stuck in it. To step into ourcreative nature unabashedly without forgetting the lessons we've learned. A daunting task to saythe least, but hopefully a worthy endeavor.
How do we practice this on the mat? Thisquestion will be the focus of my 2013 teaching. Join me in the exploration of this theme.
Remembering where we've been, as we open tonew experiences of yoga.
