Each Figure is annotated with reference numbers that are embedded in the description e.g.In Fig. 2, widget 222 is connected to thingy 228. I prefer to number by 100’s in eachfigure, i.e. if a part is introduced in Fig. 2, I give it a 200 number and I number in order of  presentation, skipping by 2’s. For example Fig. 2: 202, 204, 206; Fig. 302, 304, 306. . .The same number is used to describe an element in each other figure the element appearsin. Thus, you can have item 202 in Fig. 5. The description described the structure of theinvention, the function of the invention, how it is made and how it is generally used. Thedescription MUST be sufficient so that a “person of ordinary skill” in the subjecttechnology can make and use it without “undue experimentation” based upon their knowledge of the technology.]
