This is a week long, on-site adventure of learning what it takes to create an intentional community. Participants should be prepared for immersion into five days of intensive study of history and concepts. They will create a community and neighborhood of their choosing on a real or fictitious piece of land. The course will provide a broad overview of planning, zoning, ecological, social and construction issues of community design, based on sixteen years of history and growth of an intentional neighborhood in Charlotte, Vermont.
