BUSY EVENT WEEKEND TO PROVIDEECONOMIC BOOST FOR AREA BUSINESSES
ALBANY, NY
 – 
The Times Union Center, owned by Albany County and managed by SMG,had nearly 30,000 people walk through its doors from January 11
th
-19
th
and is looking to exceed
that number with this weekend’s events alone. Area businesses, who rely heavily on these
events, should expect to benefit from approximately 80,000 people attending Times UnionCenter events through the first month of 2013.

pital Region residents for continuing to choose the Times Union Centeras one of their main sources for entertainment. The economic impact these events have on ourarea businesses is tremendous. The four events we have coming up this weekend alone, should
result in approximately $725,000 to the area.”

: Siena College Men’s Basketball vs. Niagara

Ticket prices range from $7 to $30
 
Saturday @ 2:00pm: Albany Devils Hockey vs. Adirondack Phantoms @ 2:00pm

Ticket prices range from $13.50 - $25.00
 
Saturday @ 7:30pm: Union College Men’s Hockey vs. RPI
 
o
 
Ticket prices are $10 for students and $15 for adults
 
Sunday @ 3:00pm: Jeff Dunham’s “Disorderly Conduct” worldwide tour 
 
o
 
All seats are $47.50
