Series of photographs of a site located along Spring Creek in south central Idaho. GPS: 043, 15, 27 N, 114, 39, 11 W. The first photo is the site as you approach from the west. The image is located near the top of a Basalt cleft that is approximately 2.4 meters tall, .3048 meters wide at the bottom, and .6096 meters wide at head level. The bottom has a dirt floor and covers a burial. The right eye of the element looks down. The left eye looks directly at you. The overall menace tells you that you are standing on a sacred spot, guarded and you be cursed by the Watcher if you were to disturb the grave. Pay your respects and leave, telling no one. I have spent hours at the site and even traveling to the Columbia River to Horsethief Basin State Park to study the famous Petroglyph known as Tsagagalalla. GPS: 045, 38, 03 N, 121, 06, 06 W. I add that image to the end of this presentation and ask the viewer to make the interpretation for themselves. I have a life size print of the Petroglyph on my wall and, from time to time, I look at it. It has haunted me and been a part of my life ever since I discovered it in the spring of 1982.
