In our group, we are teaching Design and Technology for year 4 where we have to design a free movingcar which can carry a stuffed animal using recycled material.Our action plan in the development of our group curriculum resources, scheme of work, activities andassessment procedures, we firstly decide to look at the different design of the model, which is possible for the student to do. Then they do research about the material they are going to use. After they have decidethe materials, they discuss with their partner on how to design the car. Student now can identify thedifferent parts of the materials, then choose the specific/suitable materials to be use for their model.
