If you have anyquestion about the operation or maintenance of your outboard motor, please consult a HIDEAcorporation.In this Owner’s Manual particularly important information is distinguished in the followingways.The Safety Alert Symbol means ATTENTION! BECOME ALERT! YOUR SAFETY ISINVOLVED!
Failure to follow WARNING instructions could result in severe injury or death to the machineoperator, a bystander, or a person inspection or repairing the outboard motor.
A CAUTION indicates special precautions that must be taken to avoid damage to the outboardmotor.
A NOTE provides key information to make procedures easier or clearer.To ensure long product life, HIDEA recommends that you use the product and perform the
specied periodic inspections and maintenance by correctly following the instructions in the
owner’s manual. Note that if you do not follow these instructions, not only may the product breakdown, but the warranty will also be voided.
The F2.5AMH and the standard accessories are used as a base for the explanations andillustrations in this manual. Therefore some items may not apply to every model.
