These tickets were purchased in support of official hospitality offered to foreign nationals, as weil as to foster positive working relations abroad through the promotion of Canadian businesses, and the sales and exports of Canadian products. Our Government is committed to ensuring that every effort is taken to minimize casts to hardworking taxpayers, and OFAIT employees have been directed to make decisions regarding hospitality with respect for taxpayers in mi nd.
