The National Committee on United States - ChinaRelations is a nonprofit educational organization thatencourages understanding of China and the UnitedStates among citizens of both countries. TheCommittee focuses its exchange, educational and policyactivities on politics and security, education, governanceand civil society, economic cooperation, mediaand transnational issues, addressing these withrespect to mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.The Committee’s programs draw strength from itsmembers, who number more than 700 Americansfrom all parts of the country and 75 corporationsand professional firms. They represent many viewpoints,but share the belief that productive U.S. - Chinarelations require ongoing public education, face-to-facecontact and forthright exchange of ideas.
