Episode Title: How to Repair yourPersonal Credit Report and Improve your Scores
It tells a story of a person's life. You can go back pretty far on people. Inquiries are abigger deal than people understand. Every time they apply for credit, they just run outand let people pull their credit, it's worth a couple of points a piece. The average personhas twenty to twenty-five inquiries on their credit, and at two points a piece, that's fortyto fifty points! That's a big deal. The tweaking of little things at the end are just goingto make your score go a little higher and a little higher, and it's going to save you, on ahome in thirty years, hundreds of thousands of dollars. I mean literally hundreds of thousands over thirty years.(The show’s high energy introduction music plays)Hi! My name is

Owen:
So Randy, what I would like for you to do is to see if you can give anintroduction to my viewers as to how you got started, who you are, and how you gotstarted in the business?
Randy:
Well
 ,
the way we got started in this business was, I was in the car business fortwenty-seven years, and dealt with credit every day. A lot of people would come in thedoor, sixty percent or more that couldn't buy a car.
Owen:
Um-hmm.
Randy:
If they could, they were paying an excess of twenty percent interest—
Owen:
Wow.
Randy:
—which, raising their interest rate would almost make their payment wherethey couldn't make it. It makes it almost unreachable for them. They want to try tomake it, because they needed the car, but that amount was out of their budget.
Owen:
 Yeah.
Randy:
So doing consulting work in Huntsville, Alabama, I was doing consulting work for a car dealership that did over three hundred used cars a month in my—now, thatmay not seem a lot to people who aren't in the car business, but that's a very, veryhuge number.
Owen:
 Yeah.
Randy:
And they were selling almost to around eighty to ninety a month, but thatthree hundred just from credit repair. So I learned about it in Huntsville, Alabama, brought it to Texas almost eight years ago. We have been a very, very strong companysince then.
Owen:
Okay, okay. So we're just going to go straight into the interview and questions. And right now we all see what's going on in the economy, and I just wanted you—we'll just give the listeners some reasons why it's very important for them to get a creditfixed in this economy that we are facing.
