In the past few years, millions of peoplehave gone online. And some of them probablythought they would never have probablythought they would never have a use for acomputer.Today, the Internet connects thousands of networks and hundred of users around theworld. It is a huge, cooperative communitywith no central ownership. This lack of ownership is an important feature of theinternet, because it means that no singl personor group controls the network.
