The public is hereby informed that, by virtue of powers conferred upon meunder Section 181 of the Road Traffic Act 1962, the following trafficarrangements will be in force as from 1300 hrs on Monday 16 February 2009until 2100 hrs on Tuesday 17 February 2009.NO PARKING

TRAFFIC DIVERSIONMONDAY 16.02.2009AS FROM NOON:ROAD CLOSURE
1.St Jean Road will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions from 1300to 2200 hrs from St Jean to Flic en Flac.
TRAFFIC DIVERSION
1.Traffic from Belle Rose towards Quatre Bornes will be diverted into OllierAvenue, Victoria Avenue and Naz Avenue onto Berthaud Avenuetowards La Louise.2.Traffic from Candos towards Port-Louis will be diverted into SirSewoosagur Ramgoolam Avenue towards Tulipes Avenue. SirSeewoosagur Ramgoolam Avenue from its junction with Candos Roadwill be converted into a one-way street towards Tulipes Avenue.3.Tulipes Avenue will be converted into a one-way street from its junctionwith Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Avenue towards St Jean Road.4.Traffic from Black River and Flic en Flac towards Palma will be divertedalong Black River Road towards Bambous and St Martin.5.Geoffroy Road will be converted into a one-way street from Beau Songestowards Bambous.

AS FROM 1500 HRS:ROAD CLOSURE
1.Northbound motorway will be closed to vehicular traffic from SirSeewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport Roundabout up to St JeanRoundabout. All Roundabouts will be manned by police to allow traffic tocross. All exits on the Northbound motorway will be closed.
DIVERTED TRAFFIC
1.All motor vehicles leaving Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam InternationalAirport and proceeding in the direction of Plaine Magnien will bediverted along Mon Desert Mon Tresor Road, L’escalier Road onto PlaineMagnien Road.2.Vehicles proceeding towards Mahebourg will cross Plaine MagnienRoundabout to engage into a special lane provided along the Southboundcarriageway towards Cemetery Roundabout and Mahebourg3.Traffic from Curepipe to Port-Louis will be diverted along PalmerstoneRoad, Sivananda Avenue, Pont Fer Roundabout, Petit Camp and St Jeanonwards. Petit Camp Road will be converted into one way street towardsShoprite and will be declared a “
No Parking Zone”.
AS FROM 1800 HRSROAD CLOSURE
1.Northbound motorway will be closed to vehicular traffic fromSt Jean to Grewals. All exits on Northbound motorway will be closed andRoundabouts will be manned by police to allow traffic to cross.

St Jean Road will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions from St Jean to Flic en Flac.
