 Along the journey the Naqshbandi path travelledto India through Hazrat Baqi Billah inpreparation of the beginning of the secondmillennium with Sheikh Ahmad al FaruqiMujaddadi Alif Thani, Sirhindi, in India. About Sheikh Ahmad Rasoolallah had said in one of theHadith.Many saints predicted his advent. One of themwas Sheikh Ahmad al-Jami (q). He said, ‘After mewill appear seventeen men of the People of God,all of whom are named Ahmad and the last oneamong them will be at the head of themillennium. He is going to be the highest of themand he is going to receive the state of Unveiling.He is going to revive this religion (the tariqat).” Another to predict his advent was NaqshbandiKhwaja al-Amkanaki (q). He said to his khalifaBaqi Billah, “A man from India is going to appear.He will be the Imam of his century. He will betrained by you, so hurry to meet him, because thepeople of God are awaiting his arrival.”
