I see her presence everywhere.PETERSON: Right.ROBACH: Chrissy, is that hard for you to see her presence everywhere?RAINES: [pause]PETERSON: That looks like she don’t want to answer.[VIDEO CLIP]Since Stacy mysteriously disappeared and the death of his third wife wasruled a homicide, Peterson says he has never had problems dating.ROBACH: How many women have you dated since then?PETERSON: A few. A couple. I can’t even count. I’m going out here and there.ROBACH: They come up to you?PETERSON: Sometimes. Sure. It’s just being out there. And this…it’s funny womenfor some silly reason are attracted to that and I can’t explain it. I don’t understandit.ROBACH: Attracted to the danger, perhaps?

PETERSON: I don’t know. See, once people start knowing me and my personalitykicks in I think they are attracted to my personality. I think Chrissy’s attracted to mypersonality. Certainly not my good looks!ROBACH: Chrissy, was there a danger, just like the notoriousness…I mean you thinkof Drew Peterson, you think a lot of things. Was that, attractive at all?RAINES: No. I’ve known him from before and he’s always been nice to me so…ROBACH: You’ve known him from before. You’ve known him when he was stillmarried to Stacy?RAINES: Yes.ROBACH: So, when all of this news broke and Stacy disappeared, what did youthink?RAINES: I felt bad for him. I thought, like she was kidnapped or something. That’s it.I didn’t think that he did anything to her.ROBACH: people who are watching say, what is this girl thinking? Why would sheeven take a chance? What if he is guilty? What do you say to those people?RAINES: that I’m running the other way! I’m just joking! [Laughs] I just don’t believeit. I don’t believe it.ROBACH: Why are you so sure?RAINES: I don’t believe he’ll hurt anyone.ROBACH: What about Drew makes you believe that? What have you seen? Whathave you heard that makes you believe that?RAINES: He’s nice. He has a good heart. He’s very caring and I don’t think he’ll everhurt me or anyone else.ROBACH: Do you have anybody that supports your decision to be with Drew?RAINES: No.PETERSON: Your mom?RAINES: My mom.PETERSON: There, you go.RAINES: I mean, she’s not out there like, saying it but…ROBACH: Anyone else?RAINES: No. No. No one else.ROBACH: What do you say to them?

RAINES: That I’m going to be OK. Nothing’s going to happen to me. It’s all I can say.ROBACH: Do they believe you?RAINES: No. No.ROBACH: Do you understand why?RAINES: Yes.[VIDEO CLIP]Chrissy’s father, Ernest Raines, has said he fears for his daughter’s life.ROBACH: He called you the devil.PETERSON: Exactly. So, but, it looks like the devil actually won this round. [Laughs][VIDEO CLIP]But before getting married, Drew still needs to divorce his former wife, Stacy, who he believes is alive.ROBACH: Do you all have wedding plans?PETERSON: Whatever she wants. [Laughs]ROBACH: What do you want?RAINES: I just want my family.PETERSON: I know. I’m making fun again.ROBACH: Do you think that you will have your family with you at your wedding?RAINES: I hope so but probably not. My dad already made it clear that’s not going tohappen.ROBACH: Do you have any sense of timing as to when you all would be able to getmarried, when you could get the divorce, when you could actually have a wedding?PETERSON: I really don’t know but I’m hoping for as soon as possible.ROBACH: Chrissy, what time frame would you put wedding plans in?RAINES: June or July.ROBACH: I’m curious as you guys kind of plan your lives together, have you alltalked about having children together?PETERSON: No. I think we have enough children. Between us we have eight and agrandchild coming, so I think that’s enough.ROBACH: You’re fifty-five though. Chrissy’s just twenty-four.
