Description
This is Dr William Shaw’s (of Great Planes Laboratories) collection of discussions of treatment mainly in relation to autism. Chapter 2 however is very interesting in relation to mental illnesses.
Chapter 2 details Dr Shaw’s theories in relation to the GI tract being overrun with the Clostridia group of bacteria.
For anyone who is interested in eliminating any possible Clostridia problem, I have found that using the probiotic Culturelle, as advised by Dr Shaw, is very very interesting. I have been making it into yogurt, which allows for dosing that far exceeds the capabilities of Culturelle itself. I have only been trying this for a very brief time, so do not want to draw conclusions just yet, but in relation to Schizophrenia I am extremely impressed at the moment.
