SI MANJAKU MASSAGE
There already exists many massage techniques forinfants. For example The Swedish massage, the Chinesemassage, the Traditional massage, the Modern massage andmany more. All these techniques have physiological effects onthe infant’s organ system. Table 1.1 explains the physiologicaltissue effect towards massage.

The Swedish massage technique generally affectsthe lymphatic circulation/flow. This lymphatic reaction hindersgerm activities, reduces swellings and helps in healing. As forthe Chinese massage technique, the manipulation of thistechnique activates the acupuncture points. These points areactually autonomic end nerves that represent interior organs.
