κκλησία) means “"assembly,congregation, council" and to denote both a Christian association of peopleand a place of worship. The term means something quite different for eachreligious institution that sees itself as belonging to the Christian traditions.Twenty centuries past everywhere group of people whom gathering underone roof to worship the living God that is call church. In that, there are severalnominal churches today. Centuries passed, and the growth of theChristianity and the Churches are innumerous around the world. It isgeneral believe that the India alone have two percent of Christians in pastyears. As well as Christians grows the churches grows along with newdoctrines. The present churches are assuming their own doctrines. TheChurch of living God at present date it become modern culture center. It isvery pathetic to say once people gathered for worship and have fellowshipwith one anther but today is gathering only for membership. Once itsgrowth through the gospel work and prayer but there is no new believergrowth by new generation. We are unable to say what is the problem of

today’s churches and its growth is it not the church head office are notallowing or the person one who ministering in the church is lazy.Church is not an organization but it is a living building every stonethat lay on one anther. However, many today representing churches areremaining as big building and stones not hold their life. For it quench thefire or spirit which in it. Once the church was illuminated by spirit and brings many to Christ. It directed everyone and enabled every person towork according to His will.As our topic, a special focus on the Pentecostal churches. Mostly publiccall Pentecost people as protestant group, there are many protestantgroups hold new doctrines. However, the identity of the Pentecostalchurch is which fully based and founded on the apostolic doctrines (Acts.2:38-42). Which means the Church always led by Holy Spirit, for themeaning Pentecost in New Testament; we consider the dissension of HolySpirit who send by the Father “And I will ask the Father, and He will giveyou another Counselor to be with you forever –“ (Jh.14:16). The work ofthe Pentecostal still exists. Off course, we could boldly say that the growthtoday the churches have only through the Pentecostal people, who still based on the doctrine of the apostles. At present date, we could see thegrowth of the churches all over the world, especially in North India.Today existing churches and the revivals in Christianity are the work ofwhich the Pentecostal people did in the past years in India. Then still theHarvest is plenty, why? Let see what is the present churches gaining andthe failure area of it.
