UK Qualifications in Egypt Fair

Invitation to exhibit
The British Council will organise a major UK Qualifications Fair in Cairo on Saturday 10 March 2012 in the Four Seasons Hotel, Nile Plaza, Cairo. It will be open from 12.00 pm 07.00 pm to parents, students, fresh graduates, postgraduates, professionals and employers. Through the fair, we aim to: increase awareness of the range of quality UK qualifications available here in Egypt through local schools, institutes, universities and colleges offering UK qualifications and programmes demonstrate the unrivalled quality of UK qualifications and education from primary level English qualifications, to school-leaving certificates, higher education diplomas and degrees and qualifications for professionals provide inspiration and information to visitors to the fair to help them make the right choices for education and career success highlight to the target audience how UK education and qualifications lead to success and the skills needed to improve their personal career prospects. As a key provider of UK education and qualifications we would like to offer you the opportunity to exhibit at this event, which will bring together in one place the complete range of UK educational opportunities available here in Egypt. The fair will be supported by a fully-integrated advertising and public relations campaign, which will run on the radio, in print media and online. A unique creative execution using the Education UK brand will be applied across the different media to attract attention and generate interest in attending the event. We expect an audience of several thousand visitors with the authority to make informed choices and investments in education and qualifications.

As well as the exhibition, the event will include other activities such as presentations, videos, competitions, and prizes in order to fully engage the target audience with the creativity and range of UK education.

Information for exhibitors


All exhibitors will benefit from the following: 1. Branded Material: 1.1 Exhibition brochure: one page of editorial (max. 300 words) with your high resolution logo 1.2 Generic event flyer (7000 will be distributed in and around Cairo) 1.3 Generic event poster (1000 will be distributed to schools, universities, clubs and other meeting places around Cairo) 1.4 Generic event banner (6 m x 2 m) on British Council Agouza building 2. Advertising: 2.1 Online: generic event promotion on a mail shot to 10,000 British Council contacts and customers, on Facebook and banners on British Council-owned websites 2.2 Print: generic event promotion in two Friday editions of Al Ahram newspaper (1/4 page full-colour adverts) 2.3 Radio: generic event promotion on famous radio programmes in prime time morning/evening programming (five spots per day for one week) 3. Press and media coverage: 3.1 Press release and pre-event media promotion 3.2 Major media reporting during the event

The cost of one exhibition booth size 3 m x 2 m is LE 5,000 The cost of one exhibition booth size 3 m x 2 m and delivering a hour presentation with our multi-media equipment is LE 6,000 (Plus LE 1000 per extra hour presentation)

The cost of a full page coloured advert in the exhibition brochure is LE 10,000
