Unfortunately, due to health issues with Mr. Wilson, The REACH Foundation has stepped out of the program opening a great opportunity for the right organization.

Our Mission is to help children break through personal barriers by inspiring the belief that anything is possible, drawing attention to their needs, and empowering advocates to raise funds for organizations committed to helping children.
The
Leif Becker will break a new world record and channel that inspiration to help children break individual barriers. In addition to a world record for boards being broken, he strives to set a new record for the number of initiatives and organizations involved in one event. The Breaking Barriers event will culminate in New York City, where Leif will attempt to break a world-record shattering 100,000 boards in 24 hours. Our vision is to have each of the 100,000 boards sponsored on behalf of a child facing a barrier that limits his or her true potential.
The
Leif Becker is one of the most recognized Martial Artists of breaking in the world today and author of Breaking Barriers: Your Guide to Personal Mastery. Leif travels nationally and internationally regularly working with individuals of all ages and abilities. Leif Becker understands and utilizes athletics and team sports to positively contribute to childrens mental and physical development. 1996 - Leif received his Black Belt in Tang Soo Do. 1998 - Leif founded Southbury Karate Academy in Connecticut, developing it into the premier training studio that it is today.
The
2003 Leif began his journey for a World Record title. Over the next four years, Leif developed himself as a professional athlete with the skills and mindsets to create success on some of the largest platforms in the country.
Leif appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and broke the most boards in 60 seconds on Live national TV.
2008 - Leif became a multiple world record holder by setting a world record for the most boards broken in 10 seconds, 140 total.
Today Leif currently trains daily for the upcoming World Record attempt.

The
Empower children to face their barriers

by working with our partners to help guide them through a process inspired by Master Leif Beckers world-record breaking strategies. PLAN AND SHARE - Identify the barrier to be overcome and help the children create a plan they can share with their supporters. ACT, EVALUATE, ADAPT - Put the plan into action and make adjustments as necessary along the way. REWARD - Celebrate milestones along the way and reward progress towards the goal.
Breaking Barriers - Building Futures is

designed to provide opportunities for our partners to receive more resources that will help children break through their barriers. We are pairing an effective fundraising model with a powerful event that will increase partner visibility through media, movement building, and an inspirational leader generated by martial arts master and world record holder Leif Becker. The platform will not only generate awareness that organizations can leverage to impact their causes, but create meaningful change and lasting impact for the children through fundraising and educational resources.
The
Breaking Barrier key audience will be targeted via national, regional, and local media campaigns, including Broadcast and Print exclusives, interviews and Public Service Announcements (PSA's). We are currently planning logistics for several "out of box" concepts, to aid in fundraising and maintain buzz.
Social media campaign will engage like minded organizations, publications, celebrities and individuals, to increase web traffic, likes and follows, and encourage board sales while maintaining transparency.
