Completely Uninstalling Autodesk Inventor 2008
The Autodesk Inventor installer allows a sequential installation of several Autodesk products, including:Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD
®
Mechanical, Autodesk
®
Data Management Server, Autodesk
®
Vault, theContent Center libraries, and Autodesk
®
Design Review. However, there is no all-in-one wrapper for theuninstall process; you must individually uninstall each application.
IMPORTANT:
This procedure describes a complete uninstall of Autodesk Inventor 2008 and associatedAutodesk products, and should not be confused with upgrading from a previous version. These stepspermanently remove all Vault and Content Center library data. Do not proceed with these steps unlessyour Vault and library data have been backed up. Perform these steps only if you intend to completelyremove all of the Autodesk Data Management Server components and associated data.This procedure assumes that the following Autodesk products are installed:

Autodesk Vault Client 2008
•
Content Center libraries

Additional steps for completely removing ADMS 2008 are detailed in the Help topic “How do Iremove Autodesk Data Management Server”, in the

Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2008\PSS
folder). These steps permanently remove all Vaultand Content Center library data. Be sure to back up your Vault and library data before performing theadditional steps.

Note:
Perform this step only if you intend to completely remove Content Center libraries from yourcomputer. If you have Autodesk Inventor 11 installed, and you are doing work that requires content,do not perform this step.
