ITINERARY
Day 01 : 31/10 Day 02 : 01/11 Sydney - Taipei Leave for airport in the evening. Taipei Yangon - (B,L,D) Welcome to the Garden City Yangon. Arrive at afternoon flight to Yangon International Airport. Our representative will give welcome gifts including traditional Shan bag, postcard & Map of Myanmar, then transfer to hotel. Here we would like to reserve enough time for you to take a good rest that you may need after a long tedious flight. Therefore, sightseeing in Yangon will be on the day before departure, so that you will enjoy for the whole day. Yangon Bagan - (B,L,D) After breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagan. On arrival you'll be taken to Shwezigon Pagoda a prototype of later Myanmar stupa. Then to Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural pain-tings of Jataka scenes. After that we check-in at our Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour continues with visits to lacquer ware industry where you can study traditional Myanmar lacquer ware making, Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha images, a captive king's impression of life in prison; Nanpaya, an Early-style temple with the finest stone carvings. Although it has spots lights installed, it would be safer to bring your own touch as electricity supply can be shut-off from time to time. In the evening you will be visiting the Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross. Overnight at hotel. Bagan Mandalay - (B,L,D) After breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to the airport for a flight to Mandalay. After arrival at Tada-Oo International Airport, you will be proceeding to famous Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most sacret Buddha Image in Mandalay. Then a short visit to Gold foil making cottage industry. Check-in at hotel and followed by afternoon sightseeing that begins with Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings. Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the World's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Tour continues to Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for a panoramic view of the city and a spectacular sunset view. It is worthwhile to take a stroll up the hill to enjoy the panoramic views. Return can be made by car as there is also a car track by the base of elevator just before the platform. Overnight at hotel. Day 05 : 04/11 Mandalay Yangon - (B,L,D) Early morning transfer to airport for flight back to Yangon. Arrive at Yangon airport and transfer to hotel. Your exciting sightseeing tour of Yangon begins with Nagar Glass factory where you can experience old methods of making glass figuring by experienced workers. Then to Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, a colossal reclining Buddha. After that a short stop around the Sule pagoda we visit the city centre to see the bustling rush hour as we proceed to China town area for an evening stroll. In the late evening, we head off to Shwedagon Pagoda, that offers a remarkable atmosphere with spectacular colours. Overnight at hotel Yangon Kuala Lumpur - (B,L,D) After breakfast, sightseeing in Yangon includes visits to some major highlights like Gaba Aye (World Peace ) pagoda and Mahapasana Cavem before.transferring to the airport for international departure to connect flight for Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur - Colombo - (B,L,D) Meet and assist on arrival at Airport by OUR Travels Representative and leave for Colombo. Overnight stay at Ramada Colombo. Colombo - Polonnaruwa - Dambulla Habarana - (B,L,D) Breakfast at Ramada Colombo and leave for Habarana. En route, visit Polonnaruwa and Dambulla.T The island's medieval capital (built in the 11th and 12th century AD) rose to fame after the decline of Anuradhapura. It is a world heritage site. Many of the ruins are in an excellent condition. Its great artificial lake, the Parakrama Samudra which covers an area of 6,000 acres, feeds a network of irrigation canals and minor tanks. Visit the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Gal Viharaya which has 4 splendid statues of the Buddha in 'Upright', 'Sedentary' and 'Recumbent' postures carved out of rock, the Audience Hall, the Lotus Bath and the statue of King Parakramabahu. There are also monuments of famous places of worship such as the Shiva Temple, the Lankathilake, the Watadage, the Galpotha, the Kiri Vehera and the remains of a former Temple of the Tooth. Lunch at a Local Restaurant Proceed to Dambulla.The Dambulla rock temple was built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a World Heritage Site. Itisthe most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and ceilings, is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning14 metres. Proceed to Habarana, dinner and overnight stay at Chaaya Village.

Anuradhapura - Mihintale Habarana - (B,L,D) Breakfast at Chaaya Village and visit Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Anuradhapura was the first capital and undoubtedly the grandest city of the ancient Ceylon. It is the home of two world heritage sites. Many places of historical and archaeological interest could be visited. Sri Maha Bodhi (Sacred Bo-Tree) was brought as a sapling of the tree under which Prince Siddhartha attained to enlightenment and it is over 2200 years old and is the oldest historically documented tree in the world. The Brazen Palace (2nd century B.C), the 1600 stone columns you see are all that is left of a magnificent multi-storied residence for monks. Ruwanweliseya (2nd century B.C) is the most famous of all the dagobas. It originally depicted the perfect ''bubble shape" that modern restoration has not been able to accurately reproduce. ''Samadhi'' Buddha statue (4th century AD) is one of the most famous statues, depicting the Buddha in a state of ''Samadhi'' or deep meditation. Isurumuniya rock temple (3rd century B.C) is well known for its rock carvings. Lunch at a Local Restaurant Proceed to Mt Mihintale is where Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka. Mihintale is regarded as the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. The rock is riddled with shrines and rock dwellings. A grand stairway of 1,840 steps made out of granite slabs 15'' wide leads to the summit from where one could get a splendid view of the surrounding countryside. Habarana - Sigiriva Kandy - (B,L,D) Breakfast at Chaaya Village and leave for Kandy. En route, visit Sigiriya Climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). The ''Lion Rock'' is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock. Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the ''Heavenly Maidens'' of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster. Proceed to Kandy. Lunch at a Local Restaurant.

Day 10 :

Sigiriva - Kandy (continued...) Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name 'Kandy' conjures visions of splendour and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town, the bazaar, an arts & crafts

centre and a gem museum / lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show. Dinner and overnight stay at Chaaya Citadel Hotel Kandy. Day 11 : 10/11 Kandy Kelaniya - Colombo Kuala Lumpur - (B,L,D) Breakfast at Chaaya Citadel Hotel Kandy and leave for Colombo. En route, visit KelaniyaVisit the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, which was built in the 3rd century B.C. Kelaniya is one of the three places visited by the Buddha during his visits to Sri Lanka. Lunch at a Local Restaurant. City Tour of Colombo. Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas - where you find stately homes of the affluent and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) - an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China. After dinner at The Gateway Hotel, leave for Airport. Day 12 : 11/11 Day 13 : 12/11 Day 14 : 13/11 Day 15 : 14/11 Day 16 : Kuala Lumpur Taiwan - (B,L,D) Arrive Taipei transfer to Sunmoon lake, stay at hotel. Sunmoon Lake Kaosung - (B,L,D) After breakfast, sightseeing around lake then go to big temple. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to South Taiwan Kaosung city and stay one night. Kaosung Taipei - (B,L,D) After breakfast go to Fo Qung Shan temple. Lunch at local restaurant, then back to Taipei. Stay one night at Taipei. Taipei Sydney (B,D) After breakfast, continue city tours.
